How an iWatch schould be

By thinking about a probable small wearable device of the year I had the following conclusion:

It is not just like a clock, it is a always  visible, enabled and proactive to the owner and looks like a StarTrek like communicator.

Important for a durable solution is a closed design. So, the should be no headphone jack or any other cable, which can be connected with wires. So, it also can be waterproof and has to be wirelessly loaded.

The always visible status of the device can be allowed by a colored eInk, display.
I think they will call it iInk and could have a reflexive background and illuminated like the Kindle Paperwhite. All heavily used applications like maps, email, reminders should be available but a new kind of quantified self applications.  These application for the new generation of quantified yourself users will deliver services like health support via the Cloud and socialized training up to the possibility for communication with doctors. Similar like jawbone, fitbit etc. a personal assistant like Siri will be best informed aboutyour personal health. So, it is your personal trainer.

The iteration design will be more set to voice as the primary interaction mode.

A long lasting battery with multiple days standby, wireless loading with induction charger is a must,

Audio output is delivered wirelessly to a new generation of wireless bluetooth 4.0 enabled headphones. All the functionality of a iPod shuffle device is included by that. Music can be buffered on a build in flash memory, so offline music consumption would be possible.

The multitouch display enabled display will be accessible even with gloves on.

Due to the fact that other companies missed their opportunities in that market, or just missed the point with their efforts, is looks looks like a great opportunity for a multi billion market.

So, the industry is generating a product no one had, but no one ever wants to miss in the future.
